How to Use This MCQ Quiz Maker
- Enter a quiz name and press Create quiz.
- Fill in the question, at least two options, correct answer and optional explanation.
- Press Add question. Repeat. Use Edit or Delete to manage questions.
- Choose whether to randomize questions and options.
- Press Start quiz, choose an answer, press Submit answer.
- Finish all questions to see your score, percentage and full answer review.
- Use Retry for a fresh attempt or Reset quiz to return to the builder.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the score calculated?
Each submitted answer is compared against the correct option you selected while building the question. The score is correct ÷ total, and the percentage is that value × 100. Nothing is hardcoded.
What does randomizing options do?
The options are shuffled for each attempt. The correct answer is tracked internally by its original position, so shuffling never changes which answer is correct.
Where is my quiz data stored?
In your browser's localStorage under the key calbtools.quiz.v1. It never leaves your device.
Can I use only two or three options?
Yes. Empty options are removed when the quiz runs. The correct answer must point to a filled option, otherwise the question is rejected with a clear message.
